DEMOS GIVE BV$H MORE POWER BY SIGNING ON TOO HIS SO CALLED REFORM (GUTTING) OF THE FISA ACT! ANY DEMOCRAT THAT SIGNED ON TO THIS TRAVESTY IS A TRAITOR TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. WHAT RIGHT DO THEY HAVE  ALLOWING THE TYRANT BV$H AND HIS GANG TO SPY ON ALL OF US WITHOUT A WARRANT? WHERE HAVE THESE IDIOTS BEEN THE LAST 6 YRS.?

The article "State of War" by Steve Kramer came to me today in an e-mail directly from Steve who is an old friend of mine who immigrated to Israel in 1990 with his family. He lives on the West Bank today and works for a publishing house in Israel proper. He also writes for several newspapers in Israel and the US. I decided to re-publish it here because I believe his views accurately represent a significant segment of Jewish opinion both in Israel and the U.S. today.  Mind you his views are not necessarily mine nor am I publishing this to underline my own position on this topic. I've known this man for over 50 yrs. and I know that his views are honest, deeply felt and well thought through.

This diary is a WARNING !!!  It is my sincere belief that the Bu$h administration in concert with it's many allies on the hard right are embarking on a strategy used by these same elements in the later years of the Vietnam War against the anti-war movement in this country. Specifically, this was the wide spread use of individuals known as "agents provocateurs" whose sole purpose was to infilltrate these groups and then push them to use violence and other illegal actions. Many of us in the movement at that time watched in horror as our own groups were sometimes taken over by these individuals. The  violent acts many of these agents condoned and carried out were then used by the Nixon Adminstration skillfully to destroy and neutralize the movement in those years.
